Leanne Battersby resisted Nick Tilsley’s reunion advances for all of five minutes before she gave in and let him back into her life.
But she’s about to realise he’s been telling great big porky pies next week when Elsa turns up on her doorstep.
Nick is currently playing Leanne’s knight in shining armour after returning to her hospital bedside when she was in the recent car smash.

Despite Toyah not trusting him as far as she could throw him, Leanne has softened and the pair are giving their relationship another go – for about the tenth time!
Nick has gone into business with Carla at the factory, but she’s been doing some digging and she knows what he’s hiding.
Despite Nick trying to throw her off the scent, Carla is giving him a hard time at the factory. He refuses to be pushed around though and they are constantly locking horns over the future of the business.
Meanwhile, a blissfully unaware Leanne decides to tell Nick everything about her love life since he left, meaning there will be no secrets left between them – or so she thinks.
Leanne’s happiness is cast into doubt when Peter reacts badly to her reunion with Nick. And then Simon announces he’s joining the Navy! Ex-seaman Peter is pleased with the idea, but Leanne does not want her son to sign up.
Leanne is desperate to stop him and enlists Gary Windass, who suffered from PTSD following his time in the Army, to talk to him about the realities of life in the services. But it only makes Simon more keen than ever.
Nick’s there to provide a shoulder to cry on and even talks to Si himself.
Leanne’s thrilled and forever grateful when Nick reveals he’s persuaded Simon to at least do his A Levels before he joins up.
Deciding they have a lot to celebrate, Leanne heads to Dev’s to buy a bottle of wine.
Elsa just happens to be in there and overhears Leanne talking to Tracy. Intrigued to hear Nick’s name, she follows Lea back to the flat and buzzes on the door.
Inside Nick and Leanne are getting passionate when they hear the buzzer – and he’s stunned when Elsa is on the doorstep.
Realising he has nowhere left to hide, Nick is forced to come clean to Leanne. Will she forgive him? Or are they over for good this time?

Nick’s return hasn’t gone down well with many of the residents. David for one is furious at his brother for abandoning him when he needed him most.
Many fans have predicted a shock affair between Nick and David’s girlfriend Shona too, which would certainly put the final nail in the coffin for Nick and Leanne’s relationship.
