Corrie SPOILER: affair SHOCK for Michelle – and it’s not Robert!

Will she regret her decision?

Michelle Connor is so desperate for revenge on estranged husband Steve McDonald, she’ll go to any lengths to make him and Leanne pay for their betrayal – and she doesn’t care who she hurts in the process.

When Michelle found out Steve was the father of Leanne’s baby, everyone thought she would turn to Robert Preston for comfort.

But it’s not the smitten chef she makes a move on – it’s Leanne’s fiancée, Nick Tilsley!

Desperate to find any dirt she can on Steve to get rid of him once and for all, Michelle hacks into his email account.

Although she doesn’t find anything she can use against him directly, she does discover a photo of him with baby Oli and decides that’s just what she needs to start her revenge.

Knowing Nick is already insecure about Steve’s role in the kid’s life – and that he’s even set up a meeting with a solicitor to find out how they can block Steve having any access at all – Michelle forwards the incriminating image to Nick.

He’s fuming that Leanne’s gone behind his back and let Steve see Oli. He ends up storming out after a row – completely forgetting their appointment to register the little one’s birth.

But when Steve finds out from Simon that’s where Lee’s off to, he quickly follows and bursts in, demanding to be added to the birth certificate – that’s going to please Nick, isn’t it?!

Leanne knows how upset her man would be if Steve’s name appears on the certificate, but will the flustered new mum give into Steve’s request?

And is Michelle’s revenge plot actually just driving Steve closer to his son, instead of keeping him away?

Robert is certainly not impressed with ‘Chelle’s tactics, telling her she needs to leave Leanne alone.

But Michelle isn’t giving up that easily, and as she continues to drip poison in Nick’s ear, insisting Leanne doesn’t really love him, worried Mr Tilsley starts to think she might be right.

Drowning their sorrows together in the Bistro, they get rather tipsy.

It doesn’t go unnoticed by Robert, who again tries to make Michelle see she’s playing with fire.

But she just thinks he’s jealous and tells him to back off, before inviting Nick back to her place.

As they embark on a nightcap, Michelle flutters her eyelashes and gets ready to pounce. She moves in for a kiss, but will Nick respond?

If they do end up in a passionate clinch, will it go further? And will they regret it in the morning?

Could an affair with Michelle spell the end for Nick and Leanne, leading to his exit – and actually push Leanne and Steve together in the process?
