Three Love Island stars are reportedly battling it out for one I’m A Celebrity place

Who will be the bikini queen of the jungle shower this year?

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! usually boasts at least one super glamorous campmate willing to don their bikini for the famous jungle shower.

But show bosses have a difficult decision on their hands this year amid reports THREE former Love Island stars are desperate to snap up a place on the programme.

According to The Sun, this year’s islanders Olivia Attwood, Camilla Thurlow and Gabby Allen have all expressed an interest in heading to Australia for a bug-filled experience of a lifetime.

But as it seems highly unlikely producers would have more than one contestant from the same reality show, it could mean they face a battle between themselves to convince bosses to choose them over the other two.

An insider claimed: “All three of the girls would love to appear on the show, and they would definitely add some glamour to the camp.

“The question is – who will finish on top?”

Olivia, Camilla and Gabby all appeared in this summer’s third series of Love Island.

Model Olivia and farmer boyfriend Chris Hughes finished in third place, while bomb disposal expert Camilla Thurlow and model beau Jamie Jewitt came second, and fitness instructor Gabby took fourth with Blazin’ Squad star partner Marcel Somerville.

However, the three women may face competition from two of their male Love Island co-stars, as recent reports suggest ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis and Jonny Mitchell have also been considered.

The Sun reported in August that Muggy Mike was in “early talks” about a jungle appearance, while Camilla’s ex Jonny has also apparently met with I’m A Celeb showrunners.

A source claimed: “Bosses said he would be the perfect hunk for the show and have asked him to come for a meeting.

“Obviously he’s over the moon and would jump at the chance.”

Meanwhile, fans have urged I’m A Celeb bosses to sign Love Island winner Kem Cetinay and his show BFF Chris, after their bromance at the villa was compared to the friendship of I’m A Celeb hosts Ant & Dec.

Chris told OK! magazine: “I’ve seen all the Ant and Dec stuff. There’s loads of people saying it and there’s been a load of people saying me and Kem should be on I’m a Celeb and stuff like that.

“There’s just a load of stuff popping up. It’s just nice I think, so yeah I would definitely be up for something why wouldn’t I?

If any of the Love Island crew get onto the show, it would mean last year’s report that I’m A Celeb bosses wanted to ban reality stars didn’t quite pan out.

In the past, reality stars including TOWIE’s Mark Wright, Ferne McCann, Joey Essex and Gemma Collins have all taken part, alongside the likes of Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison, Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and Hugo Taylor, and X Factor’s George Shelley.

Last week, a former I’m A Celeb producer revealed there used to be a “total ban” on reality stars.

Lisa Mary London told Daily Star: “When I began my celebrity booking career, people were famous for sound reasons connected to a special talent.

“As time went on and I found myself booking the likes of James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos – more infamous than famous thanks to alleged affairs with Princess Diana and David Beckham.

“I saw the currency of celebrity plummet.”

As always, bosses over at ITV won’t confirm the I’m A Celebrity lineup until the show starts.

Rumoured names linked to this year’s show include WAG Rebekah Vardy, Saturdays singer Vanessa White, ex TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong and Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas.

Exciting!
