Holly Willoughby angered soap fans today, when she made a mistake during an interview with Home And Away legend Ray Meagher.
In fact, actor Ray – famous for portraying evergreen character Alf Stewart – would probably have had two words ready to call the This Morning host…

The actor, 74, took part on the topical morning show to discuss his Home And Away character, who he has played for more than 30 years.
Appearing live on video link from Australia – where it would have been the middle of the night – Ray spoke to Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield, who probed him about recent speculation he was leaving the soap.
Luckily Ray denied the claims, claiming: “I ain’t going nowhere.”

He also discussed the recent twist that Alf’s first wife Martha has arrived on the soap – despite previously been believed deceased!
But it was something Holly said at the end of the interview that fans were quick to correct…
At the end of the chat with the soap stalwart, Holly told viewers they could catch the next episode of the Aussie soap on Channel 5 on Wednesday night at 6:30pm.
Eagle-eared soap fans, however, were quick to call Holly out on the fact the show airs half an hour earlier than Holly stated!
The soap actually airs at 6pm, and Holly quickly got a telling off on social media.
One fan said: “*CORRECTION* thought I’d make the correction. @hollywills said Home And Away is on Channel 5, but it’s not just on at 6pm it’s on earlier at 1.15pm, so it’s on at 1.15pm then repeated at 6pm. Sorry Holls #ThisMorning.”
Another added: “#ThisMorning did Holly just say 6.30pm?”
A third typed: “Ugh!!! Correction Holly it’s 6pm @thismorning #awkward #ThisMorning.”

For the record, Home And Away airs from Monday to Friday on Channel 5.
Usually, it airs at 1.15pm every weekday afternoon, with a repeat again in the evening at 6pm.
Over the Christmas period (from about November onwards) both Home And Away and Neighbours go off air for six weeks, returning early January. This stops the British audience from catching up with the Australian output.
