Piers Morgan has criticised David Beckham for kissing his daughter Harper on the lips.
Footballer David faced backlash after sharing an innocent photo to social media this week showing himself giving Harper, seven, a peck on the lips while ice-skating.
But somehow certain people have managed to twist it into something sinister, with some people calling it “wrong”.
One person who agreed with the critics was Piers, who spoke about it on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain.
He siad: “I’m sorry but this is just weird – who does that with their kids?
“Who would kiss their kids on the lips?”
His co-star Susanna Reid hit back: “People’s parents still kiss people on the lips.”
But, Piers replied: “When kids are seven you don’t kiss them on the lips.”
Criticising David for sharing the photo in the first place, Piers added: “They want their kids to be famous and then they complain about their privacy.”
Susanna said: “I just have an issue with posting it. If you post it then you’re up for the scrutiny.”
Later in the show, Piers and Susanna were joined by Peter Andre who discussed David’s post.
Dad-of-four Peter, 45, said the picture was “a father, in my opinion, showing affection towards his daughter”.
He continued: “To me, I just think it’s an innocent situation that just gets taken out… and then all of sudden, it just puts seeds in people’s minds… this is wrong, that is wrong.”

Mid-conversation Piers – who has a six-year-old daughter called Elise – took Peter by surprise by walking over and planting a quick peck on his lips.
Piers joked: “That felt worrying good,” while Peter, also laughing, said: “You’ve got very soft lips, Piers.”
Piers reposted the moment after it was shared on Good Morning Britain’s Twitter account, saying: “So @MrPeterAndre was complaining off camera that I never show him enough love.”
