The couple told the Sunday People last year it was love at first sight.

“I thought she was gorgeous. And I still do,” smiled Leon.

“You should have seen her at 18. Wow. The prom queen.”

June revealed, “He walked me home and kissed me, and that was that. We were inseparable.”

Proving that true love is forever, Leon also said, “It’s lovely. I don’t want anybody else, only June.”

We are going to miss you in our lives, Leon.
