Proving that celebrities you admire can admire you right back, Lorraine Kelly found herself the recipient of some Hollywood love during an interview.
In town promoting her new film, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Julianne Moore took a moment to confess she’s a longtime watcher of Lorraine Kelly.
The conversation turned to Moore’s Scottish roots, with Kelly claiming Moore as a fellow Scotswoman.
“You should, you should,” responded Moore.
The actress revealed that when she was in the UK filming The End of the Affair back in 1999, she would watch Kelly on TV while looking after her infant son.
“I loved listening to you because of your accent,” she gushed, “it reminded me of my mother.”
Moore’s mother was from Greenock, and immigrated to the United States in 1951.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle sees Moore step into some villainous role – playing criminal mastermind, Poppy Adams, opposite Colin Firth and Taron Egerton as the last remnants of a top spy agency.
Moore claimed filming in the UK was an ideal summer job, with her husband, Bart Freundlich, and their children joining her for the months of the shoot.
The Oscar winner took one last moment to bond with Kelly as the interview closed, saying “[I’m] so happy to finally meet you!”
