Emmerdale viewers have been left angry and disappointed after this year’s British Soap Awards as the soap scooped just two awards.
The show’s Lucy Pargeter won the award for Best Actress for her role as Chas Dingle.

And director Val Lawson was given the special Tony Warren Award.
But no other performances or plots were rewarded.
Many were particularly bitter that Hollyoaks got the Best Soap award ahead of Emmerdale…
