Emmerdale fans seethe as Dawn betrays Harriet – and kicks off revenge plan with her ‘dead’ dad

It's a shady business, that's for sure...

Harriet Finch’s stalker has finally been revealed in Emmerdale – and viewers are LIVID that Dawn Taylor is behind the cruel attacks on the village vicar.

Even worse, her ‘dead’ dad Will has been masterminding it all, and the pair are planning to get their revenge on Harriet for what she did to the family in her previous life as an undercover cop.

Dawn and her criminal dad have been conspiring against Harriet, blaming her for getting him sent down years ago when she was living with them as a police officer.

For weeks, she’s been the victim of a merciless stalking campaign which has left her terrified for her life – but some canny fans guessed that the culprit was Dawn’s dad.

Last night (Wednesday 17 April), the villain – previously believed to be dead – arrived in the village to step up his reign of terror against his perceived foe.

Viewers know that Harriet was responsible for getting Dawn’s dad jailed which, in turn, meant Dawn was destined for a childhood in the care system.

When she arrived in the village, Dawn told Harriet her dad was dead. Harriet – and fans – had no reason not to believe her.

But viewers were livid as she met with Will last night, and the pair laid out their masterplan to bring Harriet – or Michelle as they knew her – down.

One person shocked at Dawn’s befriending of Harriet just to deceive her later, said: “Dawn, how you disappoint me. Harriet has gone out of her way to reconcile and build bridges with you and this is how you repay her? Conspiring with your father to terrorise her?”

Another said: “Can’t believe Dawn can be so evil to Harriet.”

A third added: “Dawn, who had nothing and no one. That’s not very nice. #Emmerdale.”

“There’s no polite words that describe what I think of Dawn,” wrote another.

A desperate Harriet has contacted the police with a list of people’s names who she thinks could be after her – but, with Dawn’s dad believed to be dead, it’s very unlikely he’s a suspect.

Over the past few weeks, Dawn has had creepy heavy-breathing phone calls, her church vandalised, been mugged on the street and had her house invaded.

With Dawn working alone previously, the campaign of terror will surely step up now her dad has arrived on the scene and vowed to “make Harriet suffer”.

He told his daughter: “I want her to know what it’s like to have your life turned upside down. To have everything you love taken away from you. Don’t you hate her for that?”

Will continued: “She needs to feel like a prisoner in her own home. I want her so scared, so lonely, she has no life left at all. And I want her to know it was me who did that to her.”

Will is played by Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes star Dean Andrews.
