Arthur Thomas is upset to learn that he’ll be spending Christmas with Archie Sharma in next week’s Emmerdale – but will he take his anger out on the little boy again?
Viewers have watched in horror in recent weeks as Arthur has been bullying Archie.
He violently hit out at him, knocking him unconscious before blaming Jimmy King for the marks on little Archie’s arms.

As such, Archie’s dad, Jai, and Jai’s girlfriend, Laurel are at war with Jimmy and his wife, Nicola, over the accusations.
Neither of them suspect Arthur is the one behind it all, thinking he and Archie are firm friends.
With little Archie too terrified to speak up, Arthur’s behaviour is being allowed to continue.
When Laurel breaks the news to Arthur that Jai and Archie will be spending Christmas with them, Arthur is really upset.
He wanted it to be just him, his mum, and sisters, but optimistic Laurel thinks Arthur will love having another boy around to hang out with.

Little does she know Arthur is furious and he soon ups his bullying of Archie, blaming him for ruining his Christmas.
But how far will Arthur go?
He’s already lashed out once before – could it be even worse next time?
With Jimmy in the frame for the abuse already, Arthur could do anything and get away with it.
Will he go one step too far and hurt Archie more than even he intends?
