EastEnders’ Ricky Champ is wearing socks with his child’s face on for NTA’s

Soaps stars and TV celebs are all preparing for the National Television Awards tonight.

EastEnders’ star Ricky Champ, who plays evil Stuart Highway has prepared for the award ceremony by wearing his lucky socks with pictures of his daughter’s face all over them.

Fans saw Ricky’s socks and love them!

One commented: “no this is the cutest thing EVER, I am crying” [sic]

A second put: “Aw they are so cute ! Good luck I hope you win you deserve it so much” [sic]

A Third wrote: “nahhh these are ADORABLE” [sic]

A Fourth said: “These are brilliant and beautiful <3 Good luck Ricky we are tooting for you love lucy and Chelsey @vitb12health” [sic]

“They are amazing good luck at the NTA’s tonight” [sic] another commented.

Ricky has 16-month-old daughter Beatrix with wife Samantha.

Ricky Champ is up for Best Newcomer against Need Mohan from Casualty, Alexandra Mardell from Corrie, James Moore from Emmerdale and Aedan Duckworth from Hollyoaks.

Ricky joined the soap last year as Mick’s childhood friend. However Mick’s Aunt Tina remembered when they were young Stuart stripped her naked, shoved her in a car boot and led her to believe she would die.

Stuart went on to frame Mick for shooting him which landed him in prison.

Mick was released a few weeks ago when his wife Linda managed to get a tape recording of Stuart admitting the truth.

Ricky recently admitted he’s been getting some “looks” in Tesco since his character targeted Dr Harold Legg.

EastEnders is up for Best Serial Drama award tonight and EastEnders’ Danny Dyer and Bonnie Langford are both up for Best Serial Drama Performance.

The National Television Awards are on ITV tonight at 7:30
