Whilst Tony seems to have a happy relationship in real life, his alter ego Callum has had a turbulent year when it comes to love.

After the funeral director moved in with girlfriend Whitney Dean, the pair quickly became engaged.

But Callum soon began to realise he had feelings for Ben Mitchell and the pair ended up sleeping together.

Eventually the guilt became too much for Callum and the night before his wedding to Whitney, he confessed to cheating.

Although Whitney was prepared to forgive her fiancé, her mum Bianca soon convinced her that marrying Callum wasn't going to change the fact he was gay.

The market stall owner realised she couldn't go through with the wedding and jilted Callum at the altar.

Since the wedding, he and Ben have become a couple and with Callum wanting to join the police, Ben is trying to steer away from crime.

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
