Lola Pearce is about to find herself on the wrong side of Ben Mitchell in next week's EastEnders when he rumbles her secret plan to leave Walford...
With Ben's plan to bring down Phil Mitchell taking a lot longer than anyone thought, Lola decides she has had enough of his controlling ways and starts to put plans to leave Albert Square with her daughter Lexi into motion.
The week starts off on a positive note for Lola when Billy tells her that Jay and Ruby might be on the rocks.
After Jay confides in Billy that things are tense between him and Ruby after he discovered how much she earns, Billy realises this could be good news for his granddaughter.
With her love for her ex still unrequited thanks to Ruby, Lola is given hope that there might be a chance for her and Jay after all.
With things looking up at last, Lola decides she needs to get herself a job and heads to the new salon in a bid to make a good impression.
And she obviously does something right, because she's stunned when Denise offers to give her a trial on the spot, and later she's thrilled when Denise reveals the job is hers if she wants it.
But while Lola is pleased to have landed herself a new job, her parade is soon rained on when she sees Ruby and Jay having a cosy heart-to-heart.
As the couple look to be making amends, Lola's heart is broken all over again and she decides now is the right time to make an exit from the Square.
But Ben is fuming when Lexi lets slip that she and her mum and leaving, and he is soon confronting Lola over her plans.
Having found her coach ticket, Ben has it out with Lola about her moving back to Newcastle. But his pleas for her to stay fall on deaf ears and she's not having any of it.
After finally getting Lola to agree to staying one more day, Ben hatches a plan to make sure Lola can't leave the Square... but what has he got up his sleeve?
After roping in Billy, Ben comes up with a failsafe way of getting Lola to stay put, but will it work?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
