EastEnders fans have predicted an affair for Honey Mitchell and Jay Brown after the soap confirmed the two have bonded in lockdown.
Over the last few days, EastEnders has been sharing Instagram stories of characters explaining what has happened to them over lockdown.
Yesterday (Tuesday, August 25) the soap shared a picture of Honey and explained what she has been up to.
The post said: “Rushed back to No.18 to be with her children, Billy and Jay in lockdown.
“Started working back at the Minute Mart.
“With Billy being out most of the time, Honey has bonded with Jay, who has been really understanding of her recovery.”
However fans think this will lead to an affair between Honey and Jay.

EastEnders: Will Honey and Jay have an affair?
Whilst the show hasn’t confirmed whether their new bond will turn into a romantic relationship, they did reveal more information on their Instagram stories.
The BBC soap hinted there’s trouble in paradise between Jay and his girlfriend Lola revealing he felt hurt she didn’t invite him to stay at No.55.
They also revealed business took a hit as the car lot was shut.
But they also mentioned Honey saying: “Began to build a close friendship with Honey.”

Meanwhile it seems Billy has been feeling ‘pushed out’ by Honey’s return.
Jay is currently in a relationship with Lola Peace. But what he doesn’t know is she ended up sleeping with Peter Beale when she and Jay briefly split.
Meanwhile, Honey has been away from Walford for several months after admitting she has an eating disorder.
Honey and Billy were previously married before splitting up. She soon began dating dentist Adam, however she figured out he was sleeping with Habiba.

She broke up with Adam but it became clear she had an unhealthy relationship with food. When her daughter began to not want to eat, she realised she needed to get help.
But how will Billy feel about Jay and Honey becoming so close?
