It seems Coronation Street’s Sarah Platt and Adam Barlow may rekindle their faltering romance when the hunky solicitor returns to the ITV soap’s cobbles.
Adam, played by Samuel Robertson, is expected back on screens in the coming weeks following a short break from Weatherfield for a couple of months.
He headed off in February to go travelling after making a pass at Sarah – with the womanising charmer seeming to think there was more to their brief encounter than she would admit.
Following Sarah’s suggestion nothing had happened between them Adam, replied: “That’s not strictly true, is it? Didn’t feel like nothing to me.

“I just realised Peter had the right idea with sailing away. I feel like I should do the same.”
And it seems Adam might have been right – with suggestions an upcoming storyline may see the pair kissing away from prying eyes on the Street.
Sarah is now single after dumping Gary for getting involved with loan shark Rick Neelan.
And even if the hapless builder does manage to win back Sarah before these scenes are expected to air in June, any future they may have looks to be under threat.

But if Sarah’s relationship status is no longer complicated, why are they going to such efforts to keep their meet up discreet?
A recent post from Corrie’s official Twitter account previewed that Adam will buddy up with Dr Ali Neeson at some point following his return.
