Corrie’s Sue Cleaver begs for help with VERY unusual health concern

She's had the problem for several weeks...

As Coronation Street’s Eileen Grimshaw, Sue Cleaver has been through it all – not least being married to a serial killer.

But the 55-year-old actress has today proved that fact can be stranger than fiction!

The popular Watford-born actress has begged her Twitter friends to help her with a rather unusual problem…

Posting to her 64,600 followers on Friday (March 29), she wrote: “Any advice? Jellyfish sting two weeks ago in Thailand and still getting red welts appearing on arm.

“Is that normal? No pee on it jokes please, been done to death.”

One of her followers clearly didn’t notice the exasperation in Sue’s tone, as they replied: “I believe you are supposed to pee on the jellyfish. Just being helpful.”

To which Sue responded: “That’s a myth! They used bottles of vinegar at the time it happened. This is two weeks down the line.”

Another slightly more helpful well-wisher advised: “I would pop into the chemist and ask for advice, they are usually pretty good.”

Many more suggested Sue visit her GP or a pharmacist, while some recommended remedies including beer, apple cider vinegar, lemon and lime juice mix together and antihistamines.

However, one lady revealed that sting welts can last weeks, if not months, to heal.

Sue had previously shared a blissed out snap from her holiday to Thailand, alongside the message: “Escaping the craziness. Thanks to my family for holding fort. Cheers.”

Sue’s most recent Coronation Street storyline saw teenager Seb Franklin disapprove of Eileen’s possible new love interest.

Newcomer Jan – a new colleague of Gary Windass – took a shine to her earlier this month and started piling on the charm.

With Gary aware of how much work there is to do on the factory roof following the fire, he ended up recruiting Jan to help him out with the complicated job.

Can Eileen learn to love again?
