Corrie viewers were left shocked after last night’s episode (04.02.19) as Gemma Winter’s secret was exposed.
A few weeks ago Gemma’s twin brother Paul showed up on the cobbles after recently getting out of prison.
In last night’s episode the siblings got into a row after Gemma confronted Paul about Roy Cropper’s stolen ring. The ring belonged to Roy’s mother Sylvia who recently passed away.
Paul took the ring and sold it to Big Garth for £200. However, Gemma revealed the ring was actually £3000 and Paul realised he had been conned.
When Gemma asked Paul what Billy would say if he knew he robbecd the ring, Paul exposed Gemma’s secret to the viewers.
He replied “Playing dirty are we know twinny? What would your best mate Chesney say if he knew the truth about his precious little Gemma?”
Gemma begged Paul not to expose her secret but he said “You grass me up and everyone will know you’re a killer.”

It was later revealed an old lady had died following a heart attack suffered after she was robbed by Gemma and Paul.
Gemma said that the woman was fine when they left her but Paul said the pensioner was “six feet under” because of her.

Gemma then said the woman had the heart attack in hospital and it was a coincidence.
Paul revealed he took all the blame for the crime and went to prison and Gemma agreed not to say anything if he kept quiet.
Viewers had a mixed reaction to Gemma’s secret. Some were shocked by the revelation.
