Coronation Street SPOILERS: Return of sex villain Ray

Why is Debbie going to visit him?

Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers reveal Debbie will visit rapist Ray in prison to try to win Faye’s freedom.

Debbie goes to see her former business partner with a proposition that she believes could help Faye get an early release.

Faye was thrown behind bars for almost killing Adam Barlow, who she’d confused for her attacker Ray.

But if Ray admits he raped her, Faye’s sentence will be reduced, and she could soon be a free woman.

What ace card does Debbie have up her sleeve?

Ray has been locked up for attempted murder after imprisoning Debbie and brother Kevin in the Bistro freezer.

That’s just one of his crimes, but Ray is refusing to admit to raping Faye.

But after a chat with Sally, who is deeply worried about her stepdaughter, Debbie decides to try again.

He’s a game player who loves attention, so Ray is thrilled to be face-to-face with Debbie again.

She’s repulsed by him and his sleazy comments but gets to the point.

Ray initially laughs it off when Debbie orders him to come clean about what happened with Faye and plead guilty.

But when she tells him that if he doesn’t, she’ll report him for the death of Johnny Connor, things change.

Ray knows that his heavy-handed tactics to get the Platts to sell up caused the sinkhole horror.
