Love Island fans crown Tommy and Molly-Mae as winners after reunion

They had viewers in tears

| Updated:

Hoards of Love Island fans have already picked their winners after Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague reunited on last night’s show.

The couple, both 20, were separated for three days during the trial of Casa Amor, where the girls spent time getting to know a group of new boys.

Molly-Mae stayed faithful to Tommy throughout their separation. Meanwhile, his head wasn’t turned by any of the new girls that entered the villa and he patiently waited for Molly-Mae to return.

Last night, Molly-Mae broke down in tears and fell to the floor when she re-entered the villa and saw Tommy waiting for her.

The boxer was holding her beloved stuffed elephant, Ellie-Belly, which she had left on their bed as a sign she wanted to stay together.

The Instagram star had fans choked when she sobbed: “I thought he’d changed his mind because Ellie-Belly wasn’t on the bed.”

Tommy then said: “Not in a million years.”

They had the nation in tears with their emotional reunion and many fans have now hailed them the winners of the show.

“Give Tommy and Molly the 50k already. My winners ❤️ #LoveIsland,” declared one viewer.

Another tweeted: “It’s 5am and I’m sat on my sofa actually sobbing to Love Island 😭 Tommy and Molly Mae are my WINNERS 😢 they’re so so so cute.”

A fourth agreed and commented: “Tommy and Molly Mae are the cutest couple. The fact she thought he changed his mind because her elephant had gone off the bed but he was holding it the whole time is just too precious. 100% the winners of this year.”

The pair suffered a rocky patch when Tommy’s head was nearly turned by latecomer Maura Higgins. However, Tommy then made it clear that his loyalty is with Molly-Mae and they have since gone from strength to strength.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
