Viewers have been watching the relationship develop between ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard, 23, and air hostess Amy Hart, 27, over recent weeks.

However their romance could be on the skids after they were split into separate villas, with six new girls and six new boys being added into the mix.

On last night’s show, Curtis admitted that his head might be turned, suggesting he and Amy weren’t as strong as he thought.

Holly thinks there could well be trouble ahead for the couple, wondering if Curtis has been having doubts for a while.

“I think it happened when they didn’t get picked as the favourite couple, I think he assumed that those two together were loved by the public and that everyone wanted them,” Holly suggested.

“And then when he saw that he thought, ‘Hang on a minute… why am I doing this then?'”

In a public vote last week, viewers decided Tommy and Molly-Mae, Lucie and Anton, and Amber and Michael were the most favourite couples in the villa.

Montana agreed with Holly’s suggestion and discussed the fact “he is just really stuck cause he knows it’s really going to upset Amy”.

She continued to explain “he probably feels a bit trapped ’cause he knows the public aren’t going to like him if he screws Amy over”.

Holly replied: “I feel sorry for him, and I feel sorry for Amy – it all just happened a bit too soon.”

The discussion came as a preview of tonight’s episode revealed Curtis cracking on with new islander Jourdan Riane…
