Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard to feature on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alongside Strictly pro brother AJ Pritchard

It's coming this autumn

Hit ITV reality show Love Island might be ending in just a few days’ time, but fans of Curtis Pritchard will have the ballroom dancer back on their screens very soon.

The islander’s brother, Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard, 24, revealed on social media that the two of them are set to appear alongside each other in a new show coming later this year.

On Instagram, AJ confirmed to his 431k followers that he and Curtis, 23, landed jobs as dance coaches and choreographers on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, due to air on BBC Three this Autumn.

AJ told his delighted fans he was “excited” and “honoured” to be part of the programme, which they filmed earlier this year but had to keep under wraps.

He shared a snap of himself and Curtis with American singer Michelle Visage, who is set to serve as a judge alongside the likes of Graham Norton and Alan Carr.

AJ wrote in the caption: “‘You betta werk!’ So excited to finally tell you that myself and @curtispritchard12 are so honoured to be part of the all new @dragraceukbbc on @bbcthree as the dance coaches and choreographers.

“We shot this earlier this year and have been keeping it a secret ever since!

“Coming to BBC3 this Autumn, make sure you tune in to see @rupaulofficial crown the UK’s First Drag Superstar!”

Some of his fellow Strictly pros took to the comments to congratulate the pair, with dancer Dianne Buswell writing “Go on guys” alongside a string of clapping hands, and Chloe Hewitt telling them, “Cannot wait to see this”.

Delighted fans rushed to the comments to express their excitement, as one wrote, “Omg cannot wait for this” while another said, “Actually so exited wtfffff” and a third wrote, “This is everything!”

Curtis is still on Love Island with the home stretch in sight, as bosses prepare for series five’s live finale next week.

The dancer is currently coupled up with Irish beauty Maura.

Last night’s (July 23) episode was explosive after fellow hopefuls Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames had a huge row.

A few days ago, Jordan had asked Anna to be his girlfriend. But he’s now admitted he has feelings for India Reynolds.

In the latest episode, Jordan pulled India aside to tell her that he fancied her.

He said: “Just wanted to pull you because, this is a bit of a tough conversation to have with you but we need to have it.

“Obviously, I know that you are getting on with Ovie, I’m not trying to get in the way of that, but I feel like I just need to get some of this off my chest.

“I feel, like, over the past couple of days I’ve found myself gravitating towards you and looking forward to bumping into you in the kitchen, washing up and stuff.”

India replied: “Obviously I talk to Ovie and I talk to some of the other girls. But other than that, you’re my mate in here.”

Anna was livid over the conversation, fuming at Jordan: “You like her?”

He replied: “I’m having a conversation with her. I never said that I like her.”

But Anna continued: “That’s what Maura’s just told me. You just asked me out and you like her?! Is that how much of a [bleeping] idiot you are?”
