Love Island host Caroline Flack has been put on voice rest for 24 hours, ahead of filming for the show – and she admits it wasn’t easy!
The presenter was recently struck down with a sore throat and was advised to rest her vocal chords in case she lost her voice before filming.
The Love Island star has to make sure she is in tip top condition for her hosting duties. She is gearing up to oversee another recoupling in the villa and the twist of Casa Amor’s new islanders.
Bubbly Caroline joked she should get some kind of reward for managing to stick to the ban!
Sharing a picture on Instagram Stories after her triumph, she wrote: “I’m not saying I deserve the Nobel prize but… I’ve just done 24 hours vocal rest.”
The 39-year-old then admitted: “The world has been a more peaceful place.”

The TV star enjoyed some downtime with pals in between her Love Island commitments.
They soaked up the sun in Mallorca and Caroline shared another video of herself celebrating her vocal ban being over.
As she lounged topless in the sun, she randomly began speaking French to the camera.
She captioned the clip with: “24 hours silence successful. But I’m now French.”
