Victoria Beckham slams rumours about her marriage as she hails hubby David ‘supportive’

She gushed about him ahead of their 20th wedding anniversary

Victoria Beckham has crushed any doubts about her marriage to David by revealing that he is a “great” and “supportive” husband.

The 44-year-old fashion designer opened up about David, 43, in an interview ahead of their 20th wedding anniversary.

She will be celebrating two decades of marriage to the retired footballer on July 4 this year. And she said they will be making sure their four children, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and seven-year-old Harper will be involved with the special event.

“He really supports me in what I do.”

Their low key plans will make quite a difference from their lavish nuptials in a castle in Dublin in 1999.

Victoria’s latest comments come after reports about their near-20 year marriage being in trouble last year, which they have denied.

The former Spice Girl previously rubbished any talk of their relationship being on the rocks.

Victoria said any hearsay was “nonsense” in an interview with British Vogue in October last year.

She opened up about their longstanding romance and insisted that she and David are stronger together.

The mum-of-four told the publication: “We both realise that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.

“Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago? It’s all about the family unit.”

She added that they have got used to people talking nonsense about them over the years.

She continued: “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal.”
