The Chase viewers felt a rather unusual sensation yesterday, when they watched the show and actually found themselves LIKING one of the contestants!
In fact, they fell a little bit in love with her.

On Tuesday (09 April), Angela appeared on the ITV quiz show, alongside Graeme, Becki, and Charlie – all strangers hoping to take on the chaser and walk away richer for it.
OAP Angela was the second to face Mark Labbett – aka The Beast – and managed to secure £2,000 against the infamously tough trivia-master.
And, as usual, host Bradley talked to Angela for a few seconds about herself.

And when he asked Angela her reasons for doing the show, the answer left The Chase viewers feeling all warm inside.
The former travel and tourism lecturer revealed she was hoping to buy herself a “magic phone”, an “all-singing and all-dancing phone”.
She added: “And I want somebody to give me lessons on how to use it.”
Bradley joked “have you been watching Harry Potter?” and told Angela it was called a “smart phone”.
Fans watching from home desperately wanted her to win her dream phone, with one writing: “I love Angela. Saying she wants a magic phone instead of saying a smart phone is exactly the sort of thing my lovely Grandma Lottie would have said #thechase.”
Another said: “Angela’s so sweet… She only wants a phone #thechase.”
A third said: “Angela is lovely. Hope they win.”

Charlie, Becki and Angela went on to compete in a Final Chase against The Beast for an impressive £13,000.
Sadly for Angela fans, the team were unable to beat the chaser, who caught them with 32 seconds remaining.
