Strictly rumour mill goes into overdrive as Mollie and AJ appear to finally KISS on screen

Everyone is desperate for them to be a couple

It’s the romance rumour that has kept everyone guessing since this series of Strictly started – but it seems that even host Tess Daly thinks there might be some truth behind the Mollie and AJ debate.

After the pair finished their Rumba routine last night Tess sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she asked the couple if they kissed at the end of their dance.

The routine, which was a Grease-inspired dance for musicals week, was a particularly romantic number – but as the pair ended their performance, it definitely looked suspiciously like they were kissing.

As Tess got to the stage to hear the judges comments, she said to the pair, “Did you actually kiss on the lips there? I missed that! Just as I ran on – so close.”

Mollie looked very sheepish indeed as Tess simply said what everyone else across the nation was thinking.

Judge Bruno also seems to think there might be something going on between the pair…

He further fanned the flames of romance rumours when he announced, “I could feel the fireworks myself… I never thought you would be able to translate these emotions into such brilliant motions.”

Mollie and AJ have gone to great lengths to deny their relationship is more than just friends over the last few months, but with their chemistry on stage last night, did the pair left the moment get the better of them? As the saying goes… there’s no smoke without fire.
