But now Strictly Come Dancing star Will Bayley has hit the headlines for altogether different reasons.
It’s been claimed that Will once dated a porn star and the pair have a child together.
Table tennis player Will – who won silver and gold medals at London 2012 and Rio 2016 – is said to have dated former adult star Fiona York for three years.

Will, who is currently single, shares daughter Bella with Fiona.
A source told the Daily Star: “They split up a while ago. Will is single and leads a separate life to Fiona.”

They added: “Even though they aren’t together they do have a child, who he sees regularly.”
Fiona now works as a professional model.

Famously a family-friendly show, Strictly bosses are said to be unaware of Will’s ex and her saucy past.

Signing up to the show, Will revealed that he “hoped” to do well.
He said: “I have no dance experience at all, but I hope I can do well. I want to inspire people with a disability – that would mean a lot to me.”
He added: “I want to prove to people I can do this.”
Will has suffered from arthrogryposis, a condition which affects all four of his limbs, since birth.
In other Strictly news, Kelvin Fletcher took the place of injured Jamie Laing.
While Chris Ramsey has also opened up about the injuries he’s suffered since signing up to the dance show.
