Joe Swash joyfully announced the arrival of his and Stacey Solomon’s fist baby together last night.
He shared the surprise news on Instagram with a powerfully beautiful picture of Stacey cradling the baby, hidden under a towel, while feeding.
Alongside the image, he shared his delight and awe at witnessing the birth.

He wrote: “This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world.
“We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come.
“Mummy and baby are well and resting. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.
“I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling.
“So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans.
“I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible. My partner, my love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X”
He later shared another intimate pic, this time in black and white, of the baby gripping his thumb!

And this morning, the telly presenter posted a pic of him with the tot – and revealed it’s a little boy!
Although Stacey shared Joe’s original announcement on the birth yesterday evening on her Instagram page, she has only just spoken out herself.
And she’s crying, with happiness, of course!
She wrote: “No matter how how intense these after birth pains are I’m smiling from ear to ear watching my family at @loosewomen celebrate my baby shower without me.
“Me and baby are so grateful to have you all in our lives we love you. I’m crying happy tears .”

As Stacey gave birth at eight months, she hadn’t even thrown her baby shower with her colleagues yet, so the Loose Women panel decided to celebrate on her behalf during today’s show without her!
