S Club 7 star has been in talks to join EastEnders

The singer hinted that it could definitely happen

S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens has revealed she’s been in talks to join BBC soap EastEnders.

The singer admitted there is definitely a chance she could star in the soap but it’s “all about timing”.

With Walford already home to one popstar, Blue’s Lee Ryan, is there enough room for another one on the square?

Speaking to The Sun Rachel, 39, said: “There have been a few times where there have been talks about it over the years.”

She continued: “You know what it’s like with things, it’s all about timing and all that kind of thing.

“But, yeah, there’s definitely been talk about it and it could happen. My mum will be beside herself if it happens.

“That’s the thing about this business – amazing opportunities come along, so who knows?”

Rachel also hinted at a possible S Club reunion.

She revealed: “The hardcore fans want a 20-year reunion and I could see that happening,” Rachel said. “It will be something we’ll have to talk about.

“It was so fun when we did the reunion tour a few years ago, it was absolutely brilliant and it was so lovely to see everyone again.”

PLEASE let this happen.

But before any of this Rachel will be starring in the brand new series of Celebrity Masterchef – which will start Wednesday 16 August.

The mum-of-two will star alongside Olympic gold medallist Becky Adlington, actor and comedian Vic Reeves, Union J popstar Jaymi Hensley, presenter Debbie McGee, former Hollyoaks star Brian Bottley, actor Tyger Drew-Honey and presenter Angellica Bell.

The star will put her culinary skills to the test as she goes up against the tough competition.

Meanwhile Rachel has opened up about how she feels “sexier now she’s older”.

The stunning brunette was crowned FHM’s Sexiest Woman of All Time in 2014 and dubbed the hottest member of S Club 7.

Speaking to The Sun the star admitted that as she’s getting older she’s feeling more and more confident.

She spilled: “It’s lovely that people still view me as a sex symbol.

“But I definitely feel like I’ve got more confident and sexier as I’ve got older.”

“Your body is always changing, which is great, but you know more what you want out of life, too, and that inner confidence gives you more sexiness,” she added.

Despite being blessed with her gorgeous looks Rachel went on to say that she wouldn’t rule out plastic surgery in the future.

She said: “Plastic surgery is great if you want it.

“It’s such a personal choice. It’s great people can have the opportunity.

“I haven’t thought about surgery now, but who knows further down the line? I don’t rule it out for when I’m older.”

Rachel is a proud mum to daughters Amelie, six, and Minnie Blossom, three, with hubby Alex Bourne.

Rachel and Alex tied the knot in 2009 at a lavish afternoon ceremony at Claridge’s hotel in London’s Mayfair.

Despite not inviting any of her former S Club bandmates Rachel walked down the aisle to the band’s hit song, I’ve Never Had a Dream Come True.

The couple decided to have an intimate affair filled with mainly family and close friends.
