Controversial CBB star reveals that she wants to appear on Strictly

US star's tweet divides fans as she says she has her "dancing shoes ready"

She might’ve stormed out of the Celebrity Big Brother house in a hail of acrimony, but it seems Trisha Paytas isn’t finished with British reality TV just yet.

In a tweet to her 349,000 followers, the YouTube sensation revealed that she’d be up for returning to our screens… in Strictly Come Dancing!

Said the 29-year-old Californian: “The next U.K. Reality show I’d do would be @bbcstrictly I got my dancing shoes ready.”

And it’s fair to say that the reaction on social media has been somewhat mixed!

Some people seemed thrilled by the prospect of the busty blonde pulling shapes on the dancefloor.

“See girly!! Leaving CBB is giving you an opportunity like this, everything happens for a reason!” gushed one fan.

Another added: “Could totally see you on Strictly dancing to your own music.”

However, others didn’t seem quite so keen on the idea.

One critic told Paytas: “Stop fishing. Their line up is confirmed and being announced each day. Go back to the US for god sake and do another reality show there.”

And another scoffed: “Work dried up already @trishapaytas – we don’t want trash on strictly, sorry not sorry. :).”

If Paytas does get her way, the usually genteel ballroom show could be turned on its head.

Last year’s series saw Will Young getting into a war of words with the now-departed head judge Len Goodman, with the singer eventually quitting the show citing “personal reasons”.

But that was nothing compared to the foul-mouthed rant Paytas had in store for her former CBB housemates after departing the show earlier this week.

She told her followers: “I have been watching so many clips, like a dozen and fake [expletive] people in the [expletive] house. I do not regret leaving now and I have some stuff to say.”

She then ripped into Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, saying: “I have so much [expletive] information and insight on her but I could… the [expletive] they do in that house is as shady as [expletive]…”

Mollie King, Ruth Langsford and Simon Rimmer are among the personalities who’ve been confirmed to appear on the forthcoming series of Strictly, due to hit our screens in September.

If Trish Paytas’s name is added to that list, prepare for fireworks!
