They took their son to meet Archbishop Demond Tutu

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped out with their baby son Archie on the third day of their royal tour.

The family touched down in South Africa on Monday and Meghan and Harry have been busy meeting locals and charity workers in Cape Town over the past couple of days.

Other footage shows Meghan holding a wriggly Archie as they spoke to Archbishop Tutu at his legacy foundation.

Meghan, meanwhile, looked effortlessly stunning in a patterned £368 Club Monaco dress with her brunette locks tied back into a bun.

She then said that he is the best dad and he said no, she is the best mum.

The family are on their third day of their 10-day tour in South Africa.

On Wednesday, Meghan will head on solo engagements - first visiting the Woodstock Exchange to meet female entrepreneurs working in technology.

The Palace said the visit will "highlight the benefits of networking between aspiring female entrepreneurs and successful female role models".

Meanwhile, Harry will board a plane to Botswana for a solo engagement.

On Tuesday, the couple gushed about being parents during a visit to Monwabisi Beach, where they learned about the work of Waves For Change, an organisation which trains and supports local surf mentors to provide mental health services to young people.

They took part in a meditation session called a "power hand" exercise with members of the organisation, during which the couple complimented each other's parenting skills.

Training and partnerships manager at Waves For Change Ash Heese revealed Meghan described Harry as the "best dad".

She told reporters: "We were invited to share our strengths and identify our strengths. Meghan looked a little bit hesitant so one of our coaches suggested that Meghan’s dancing was her strength.

"She laughed and said I don’t think so but parenting is a new strength that she and Harry are learning and developing. She then said that he is the best dad and he said no, she is the best mum."
