The reality star was hospitalised in the early hours of Wednesday morning due to an undiagnosed nut allergy.
At the time, a source close to the star told the MailOnline that the reaction had caused severe pain during the night.
“Megan was rushed to hospital this morning with an allergic reaction,” the source reportedly said.
“Doctors are still trying to establish what has caused it and she is currently undergoing tests to determine this.
“Megan went into hospital in the early hours after suffering pain and discomfort throughout the night.”
The reality star has now spoken out for the first time since the incident, admitting the ordeal was terrifying.
In an Instagram post she wrote: “The comeback is always STRONGER than the setback.
“Finally starting to feel a little more human again, I’ve never been so scared! When the doctor looks at you in shock and says we need to call an ambulance right now, a day before I was due to fly to LA.
“Thank you all so much for your well wishes and support it means so much. Meg xx”.
The star recently showed off a new look, trading in her blonde locks for something a little darker.
She shared the new colour on Instagram, posing on a sofa with her hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail.
Her fans were quick to applaud her new locks, with some saying she looks better as a brunette.
“Your hair is fab dark,” one fan said. Another commented: “Loving the hair,” including a flame emoji.
“How good does she look brunette?” asked another fan, with another commenting: “I love the dark.”
