Love Island’s Olivia calls Chris an “oddball” as she reveals truth behind NTAs row

There is never a dull moment with these two!

Love Island’s Olivia Attwood has set the record straight on claims she had a massive fight with boyfriend Chris Hughes at the National Television Awards.

The reality star used her New magazine column to admit they had exchanged words at the glamorous event, but insisted it was nothing for fans to worry about.

Olivia, 26, explained she’d been so busy at the industry awards she hadn’t been able to spend much time with Chris, 25, which annoyed him.

So when he saw her chatting to a group of people at the after-party, he wasn’t happy.

She wrote in her column: “When he saw me he started shouting, I was quite embarrassed as people got our their phones to film it!

“His management managed to stop him from shouting so it was blown out of proportion really. I don’t think he is a good drinker!!”

Olivia went on to say that she told Chris afterwards that he tends to “shout in public”, which apparently he was unaware that he did – but she used the fact a newspaper published an article about their frosty exchange to prove her point.

“It’s nothing dramatic but he just needs to learn,” she concluded.

“He’s a bit of an oddball at times. We haven’t really slept all week because we’ve been so busy.”

The couple are certainly busy as they confirmed this week they’re filming an ITVBe reality show called Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On.

The fly on the wall documentary will give Love Island fans a glimpse at the couple’s private life as they prepare to move into their first home together.

And knowing these two there will be plenty of fireworks!

The programme will also cover off the pair’s six-month anniversary approaching over the summer, and show how they deal with tabloid stories and each other’s families.

We’ve even been promised that baby Cash will make an appearance!

Olivia said this week: “Life with Chris is like one big rollercoaster but it’s safe to say we’re never boring.

“As anyone who saw us on Love Island knows, we can bicker hard, but we love harder, so I’m sure we are all in for an eventful series!”

We can’t wait!
