Katie has a long history of legal trouble surrounding her cars and driving.

In fact, on the way to her radio interview fans rushed to her defence after social media trolls accused her of using her phone at the wheel.

Katie shared a clip on Instagram that appeared, at a glance, to show her filming with her mobile phone while driving.

But Katie makes it plain in the video that she’s being “chauffeured” and isn’t driving the vehicle herself.

However, that didn’t stop one troll from commenting: “Filming while driving [is] not good is it, Katie?”

Another detractor wrote: “Breaking the law again!”

But Katie’s loyal fans rushed to her defence, with one writing: “She is being chauffeured, no law being broken.”

The mum argued she was not in control of the car when she was arrested after being found drunk in the back seat.

While she was banned for three months, a charge of drink-driving was dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Prior to that, Katie faced another ban for driving while disqualified.
