Kate and Rio share more wedding pictures as hotel compensates guests for late-night noise

Champers and chocolates for everyone!

After revealing that they had tied the knot earlier this week, Kate and Rio Ferdinand have shared more images of their lavish wedding celebrations.

Kate and Rio said “I do” at the D Maris Bay hotel in the Turkish coastal town of Marmaris last Friday (September 27).

The celebrations took place over a number of days – much to the disgust of holidaymakers also at the hotel.

However, the newlyweds looked blissfully happy and unaware of any issues in new pictures they have posted of their pre-wedding brunch.

Looking gorgeous as they posed in front of a balloon and flower wall, Kate wore a strapless white dress and smiled widely for the photograph.

Husband-to-be Rio – who is dad to kids Lorenz, Tia and Tate with his late wife Rebecca – opted for white shorts, shirt and sliders.

Rio also shared a cute picture of the couple kissing at the brunch.

Clearly besotted with her new husband, former TOWIE star Kate was also quick to change her name from Wright to Ferdinand on Instagram.

However, while the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed the nuptials, it seems their fellow guests at the D Maris Bay didn’t.

The Daily Mail claims hotel guests were “compensated with chocolate and champagne” after complaining that the wedding party made a lot of late-night noise.

Holidaymakers paying around £4,000 per night for suites at hotel in Turkey complained that loud music prevented them from sleeping.

Others said their stay was ruined because sections of the hotel were closed off to them, including the main pool, private beach and landscaped gardens.

A spokesperson for the hotel said: “It was a very large wedding party and at some stage, all the outdoor sections of our hotel were taken up by it.”

They added: “We explained the situation and in these circumstances, always provide champagne and chocolates to ease clients’ concerns.”

As well as the brunch, Kate and Rio’s guests also enjoyed a pre-wedding party on Thursday night on the hotel’s private beach, followed by the ceremony and a reception in its gardens on Friday and a pool party on Saturday.

Kate’s mum had previously revealed that the wedding celebrations took place over three days and called the wedding the best day of her life.
