Jeremy Kyle opens up about his beloved mum’s death on his show

The presenter lost his mum last month

During Thursday’s episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show host Jeremy opened up about losing his mum, Nanette, who died last month aged 85.

The presenter was devastated following the death of his beloved mother after she battled with dementia.

Guest Kylie appeared on the show to try and get help for her drug addiction.

Kylie, who prostituted herself to fund her heroin addiction, revealed she had already being in rehab once but discharged herself after just two weeks.

But she was hoping of getting another chance at finally getting herself clean.

Kylie went on to explain that the death of her grandmother had an effect on her drug use however Jezza wasn’t feeling sympathetic.

He said: “My mother died a few weeks ago and I came to work the next day.

“So you use that as a motivation because I’m sick of people who aren’t helping themselves.”

Jeremy, 51, lost his mum last month and according to a source the media personality hasn’t coped well following her death.

The insider told The Sun: “Jeremy has had an awful couple of months coping with the passing of his mum.”

At the end of the show Kylie accepted Jeremy’s offer of 84 days in rehab.

She said: “Nothing will make me leave, not this time.

“Me nan’s watching over me and giving me the strength this time.”

Viewers at home didn’t seem too impressed with Jeremy’s comments about going back to work the next day after his mother passed.

One wrote on Twitter: “My mother died and I was back at work the next day” says more about you than anyone, Jeremy #JeremyKyle.”

Another agreed: “Cue Doctor Obvious ” Drugs are bad and will kill you ,oh and if your mother dies ,you must return to work the next day” #jeremykyle.”
