Holly Willoughby hailed an ‘inspiration’ after issuing charity plea

The This Morning host called on her followers to donate

Holly Willoughby was hailed an ‘inspiration’ today as she issued a plea for fans to donate to a special charity.

On Instagram, the This Morning presenter, 39, said she was supporting Together For Short Lives, a UK charity for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

What did Holly say about the charity Together For Short Lives?

Mum-of-three Holly called on her fans to donate to the organisation as doing so will help families who are having to face the “unimaginable”.

She wrote, a alongside a snap of herself with a young girl: “Today I’m supporting @Togetherforshortlives at @BGCCharityDay.

“Money raised will help more families like lovely Hope and John’s. Hope is seriously ill and her family struggled in a cramped flat that made caring for her really hard.

“Together for Short Lives’ wonderful free legal support service helped them find a new home, where Hope could grow and thrive. Just one of the amazing ways this charity can help families facing the unimaginable.

“This has been a year like no other and families caring for a seriously ill child need @Togetherforshortlives more than ever. Please help them to be there for families in crisis who are struggling to get the right care and support for their child.

Holly is on screens with Phillip Schofield Mondays to Thursdays to host ITV’s This Morning.

The duo returned to the daytime programme earlier this month after enjoying long summer breaks with their families.
