Get well soon, Sandra!

King of the jungle Harry Redknapp has revealed that his beloved wife Sandra isn’t “particularly well” again.

The I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here! champion also revealed that Sandra, who he has been happily married to for 51 years, is seeing a “specialist”.

Their love story captured the hearts of the nation when Harry entered the Australian jungle last autumn, with the star often welling up when he spoke to his campmates about his sweetheart.

She previously had the condition just before Harry was due to appear on the ITV reality show and he nearly pulled out so that he could stay at home and look after her.

However, she was well enough to fly out and see her husband win the jungle crown.

Opening up to AOL Build, Harry revealed: “She hasn’t been particularly well. We have been to a specialist in London. I have rung her eight times today just to see how she is.”

Harry also revealed the secrets of their marital bliss. The couple tied the knot in the summer of 1967 and are parents to sons Jamie and Mark.

He said: “You can’t have a row and throw the towel in – you’ll have good days and bad days. You have to work through it.”

He added: “It’s scary when you love someone and spend your whole life with them, you worry about something happening to them. Wealth doesn’t bring happiness. Health is the most important thing.”

The news comes after Ent Daily reported that Harry had turned down the chance to appear in BBC dance show Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry revealed they had sent a dancer to put him through his paces for the day and told the Mirror: “It’s not for me … no chance. It’s a great show but I can’t dance to save my life, can I, Sandra?”
