Gino D’Acampo admits to ‘traditional’ marriage may offend some people

Pink and blue jobs!

Gino D’Acampo has thrilled fans of This Morning over the years with his cheeky sense of humour.

Now it looks as though the beloved TV chef might offend some people.

He has admitted that gender roles within the D’Acampo household are very traditional, right down to having ‘pink jobs and blue jobs’.

In an interview with The Express, Gino, 43, admitted that his wife, Jessica Morrison, is a ‘great cook’ and that she does ‘most of the cooking’.

“In the house we have blue jobs and pink jobs. She does the pink and I do the blue,” he said.

But he’s also aware that this old-fashioned approach to living might cause offence in the 21st century.

“When we discuss this, it can offend people so I tell Jessica we may have to change our ways but she says: ‘I’m a lady and I want to be treated like a lady.’

“She doesn’t care what anyone else thinks and I admire that, because if you’re happy where you are and you don’t care about where the world is going, it’s all rock and roll!”

Earlier this summer, Gino admitted that it’s not “easy” to be married to him because he’s a big “flirt”.

He said he loves to cheekily chat up both men and women but Jessica doesn’t have a problem with it as he’s always been that way.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: “I don’t think it’s an easy thing to be married to someone like me!

“Men, women, I flirt.

“I do whatever I want, I kiss everybody.”
