Georgia May Foote escapes on holiday amid Chris Hughes spat

Taking her mind off the drama

Georgia May Foote has jetted off on a sunshine holiday amid her ongoing spat with Love Island star Chris Hughes.

Former Coronation Street star Georgia is currently soaking up the rays on the Greek island of Mykonos, which she has described as “beautiful”.

Sharing some holiday pictures on social media, 27-year-old Georgia told her followers: “I have always had a fascination with Greece.

“As a little girl the mythology blew my mind. I love the food. The people.

“And I genuinely have never seen anywhere so beautiful.”

Georgia added: “I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful today that I have been able to travel around and fill my mind with incredible memories of places!

“Mykonos you have my heart.”

Georgia’s pictures certainly do sell the holiday destination.

In one, the actress can be seen posing in a bright yellow bikini while others show her taking in the stunning views.

Georgia’s holiday couldn’t have come at a better time, as she has recently become embroiled in a spat with Love Island 2017 contestant Chris.

Chris had previously told The Sun that he and Georgia had “been on a few dates”, however she told  a different story when she appeared on The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central earlier this week.

Squirming awkwardly, she said: “Nothing at all [is going on], no.

“Dating is when you go into a relationship, and I don’t want a relationship right now.”

Ramsey then probed further, asking if Chris was a “nice guy”. She added: “He’s alright… he’s just alright.”

However, during a subsequent interview on Radio 5 Live with Anna Foster, Chris said: “Obviously everyone wants to look at things from different perspectives.

“She’s entitled to say what she wants but I’m an honest person.

“I don’t get it – there’s nothing wrong with going on dates with people.

“I don’t understand why it’s an issue to go on a date with someone then admit you’ve gone on a date with someone.

“If you don’t want to admit it, don’t go on a date with someone.”

Whether they DID or DIDN’T go on a date, something tells us there won’t be any more…
