It’s not all bad for Gemma Collins, she was shipped off to a spa after Dancing On Ice producers saw how bruised she was from her tumble on the ice.
Taking to her Instagram Stories this afternoon, the 37-year-old TOWIE star revealed that she had been chauffeured to a swanky Champneys retreat in the countryside.
Gemma started by saying in her video: “Well, the lovely producers at Dancing On Ice…” before her professional partner Matt Evers excitedly added: “Have brought us to Champneys!”
Gemma explained that show bosses allowed her to have some pampering and relaxation after they realised how bad the bruising still was on her legs, following her dramatic fall on the ice the week before last.
Matt seemed pretty happy about it, too, as he was pictured laying on a massage bed ready to have a treatment.
Matt, 42, and Gemma got to take time off from their gruelling skating rehearsals and were attended to by the team at Champneys, Henlow.
In another pic at their retreat, Gemma showed the extent of the bruising on her legs.
The self-proclaimed diva was right at home as she said she was treated like “royalty” for the afternoon.
She thanked the staff for looking after her at the posh spa resort.
She added: “Thank you to the amazing team at Champneys…you treated me like a member of the royal family today.”
Gem took a particular shine to a Champneys staff member called Bev, and declared her love for her…

Being used to the finer things in life, GC added: “I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t know if they were up there with the best health spas. But it’s the best one I’ve been to.”
Her spa session comes as she also complained about feeling “so ill” earlier today.
The star appeared full of cold when she shared a make-up free Instagram Story. But she said she was determined to not let it stop her rehearsing.
