Cheryl and Liam Payne got fans very excited when they both sent out cryptic tweets with the same caption last week.
Fans went into overdrive as they speculated about the meaning behind the posts, with some hoping it meant the pair would both be performing at Capital Radio’s annual Summertime Ball.
However, it’s now been revealed that the tweets were actually just a new advert for Capital Breakfast as it launched nationwide on Saturday evening.

Needless to say, the announcement left some fans slightly underwhelmed.
“That’s it? Disappointing lol,” one wrote, while another shared, “Really all this hype for this?”
“Are you kidding me,” a third exclaimed under Capital’s tweet.

The vibrant clips were just a few seconds long and featured the caption “Things are about to get tasty” followed by a spoon emoji.
Liam posted his clip on Thursday, showing him riding on the back of a bright yellow wind up tyrannosaurus rex with his arms outstretched.
Cheryl’s – which was posted on Friday – featured her reading a script on a pink blow up pool floatie, while a jet ski zooms past her.

Other celebs who posted the Capital teaser included Shawn Mendes, Little Mix and Halsey.
Liam and Cheryl dated for two years, between 2016 and 2018, and share a son, Bear.
Showing they’re still on friendly terms, the former One Direction singer recently praised Cheryl’s parenting, calling her a “super mum” in a heartfelt Mother’s Day post.
Capital’s breakfast show with Roman Kemp replaces the radio station’s 14 regional morning programmes.
The move was widely criticised for costing the jobs of local radio employees.
