They announced their split on July 1 last year, but it appears that the love hasn’t died between singer Cheryl and her former beau Liam Payne.
The former couple are parents to son Bear and, it appears, they have decided to keep things civil for the sake of their two year old.
Revealing that things between the pair were “great”, Cheryl opened up about her relationship with the former One Direction star.

The 35-year-old singer told The Sun: “I’m actually really happy that we can be the way we are. We love and care about each other a lot and we share a child. It’s important that we’re able to have a very healthy good relationship.”
She added that she also thought it was important that the pair acted like “grown ups” after their split.
She said: “We’re going to be in each other’s lives forever so we’ve got to figure it out and be grown-up about it.”
Admitting that she is happily single and in love with being a mother to her adorable son Bear, Cheryl revealed that she isn’t dating anyone right now.
However, she said she would “never say never” about returning to the dating scene – and would even consider hooking up with another famous face.

Prior to her relationship with Liam, Cheryl was married to footballer Ashley Cole and restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
She revealed: “I’m not looking to date a celebrity. Saying that, I wouldn’t rule out dating another celebrity, but it is hard to mix schedules when you’re working away from home a lot.”
Following their split, Liam – who Ent Daily revealed once enjoyed a night out with Love Island star Amy Hart – has been linked to models Naomi Campbell and Cairo Dwek.
