Amanda Holden banned from her daughter’s school sports day

She's too competitive, apparently!

TV star Amanda Holden has confessed she is “banned” from her daughter’s school sports day because she is too competitive!

The 48-year-old made the admission during her new hosting slot on Heart Radio.

The mum-of-two explained that her youngest daughter Hollie still likes her to go and watch the event, but her eldest Lexi isn’t so keen!

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda has Lexi, 13, and Hollie, seven, with husband Chris Hughes.

She said on the radio show: “Lexi is a bit older and she has banned me from going to her sport’s day.

“It’s on Friday but she isn’t interested in anything parental.”

When Amanda’s Heart co-host Jamie Theakston asked if this is because she gets too competitive when watching the races, she admitted: “Yeah! I am massively competitive, massively.”

She said: “When Lexi was in year four I saw Colin Firth on a space hopper in the dad race. His kids went to the same school as Lexi – we were all told we weren’t allowed to get our phones out.”
