Dancing On Ice professional Matt Evers has blasted Megan Barton Hanson for looking “sour” while her boyfriend Wes Nelson took to the ice last night.
Matt previously had a bone to pick with Megan, 24, when she said that male ice skaters looked “unmanly” on the show because they wore lycra and sequins.
Now, he has urged her to be more “supportive” of 20-year-old Wes.
The 42-year-old said on Heart Radio today (14 January): “Her and I aren’t necessarily best of friends through things that she has said about our show previously.
“And again like I said earlier on the show here, I will defend Dancing on Ice. It is not unmanly to wear sequins and lycra, OK? And when I pick girls up on my head – previously on the series not with [current partner Gemma Collins] – however yeah…”
Adding that he wants Megan to “enjoy life”, he continued: “She did look a little bit sour last night. Be supportive of your boyfriend. You know, he’s working his little tail off right now and he was fantastic.”
It comes after some viewers accused her of looking unhappy as Wes performed with his newly-single skating partner Vanessa Bauer on last night’s DOI.

Another wrote: “Megan be staring at Wes’ hand movements on his ice partner #dancingonice.”
And a third added: “I can’t even imagine Megan’s face after Chris said Wes and Vanessa were a beautiful couple. #dancingonice.”

Adding to the awkwardness, judge Christopher Dean had called Wes and Vanessa a “beautiful-looking couple on the ice”.
Vanessa, 22, has recently split with her boyfriend-of-two-years, Louis Nathaniel.
Wes said earlier in the show: “It’s important you have chemistry but not too much chemistry as I have a girlfriend.”

Wes and Megan have been dating since they got together on Love Island last summer and they now live together in her flat in Essex.
