Vanessa Bauer has shared a quote about ‘avoiding drama’ and ’emotional maturity’ after her spat with Megan Barton Hanson.
Earlier this month, Megan accused Vanessa – who is partnered with Megan’s now ex-boyfriend Wes Nelson on the skating show – of timing her break-up with Louis Nathaniel for publicity and not making the effort to introduce herself to her.
Now, days after Megan and Wes confirmed their split, Vanessa has posted a quote about walking away “from anything that doesn’t improve your life”.

The quote read: “Avoid drama. Walk away in silence from anything that doesn’t improve your life.
“Calmness amongst chaos is a sign of emotional maturity.”
Vanessa added the word “basic” over the quote.
It comes days after Megan and Wes announced their break-up on social media.
Megan shared a statement to her Instagram which read: “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate.
“We have been working hard for well under a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.
“We haven’t really conducted our relationship that privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner. Love, Megan & Wes.”
Just over a week earlier, Megan had criticised Vanessa in a rant on Instagram.
She wrote: “@Vanessabauer_skates love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!
“You’ve never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night, you didn’t even look me in the eye LOL.
“Hope the tactical breakup got you the headlines you wanted babe. @wesnelson (sic).”

A few days after, Megan appeared on Loose Women and revealed she had reached out to Vanessa to clear the air.
She told the panel: “I sent her a message last night so we’re working on it.”
Megan also insisted she was just “really hurt” that Vanessa didn’t “make the effort” to introduce herself to her.
A a statement from Vanessa’s spokesperson said at the time: “Contrary to suggestions, Vanessa did not ‘announce’ her split. She’s never discussed her private life and as always wants to stay focused on her professional commitments.”
