Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left in hysterics as Vanessa Feltz pretended to fake an orgasm on This Morning.

During Tuesday’s show, the agony aunt was giving advice to viewers about keeping secrets from their partners during the phone-in segment.

One caller named ‘Becky’ had written in to say her boyfriend pretended to like stew for two years after fibbing that he liked it when she cooked the meal for him at the start of their relationship.

As Phil asked Vanessa what the acceptable amount of time someone should wait until they tell the truth, she had some bold advice.

Vanessa said: “Rest of your life, just keep on fibbing. Think of all the women lying back and thinking of England and pretending they love it! We do it our whole lifetime.”

Holly and Phil were left shocked as they burst into hysterics before Holly put her face in her hands.

Vanessa then began making some awkward sounds as she added: “Yes, yes!”

Phil, 56, covered his mouth with his hands as Holly sat there giggling.

Vanessa quipped: “Really you’re thinking, ‘What time is it?'”

She added: “It’s just to be polite, there’s nothing wrong with it! We know if you made all the effort in the world, we still wouldn’t really like it. Never rubs against the right bit.

“It’s just good manners and sometimes it’s the right thing to do.”

An embarrassed Holly exclaimed: “How did we get from stew to that?!”

Viewers were also amused by Vanessa’s antics on the show and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

One person said: “How funny is Vanessa. Love her. Made me laugh so much this morning.”
