Good Morning Britain never fails to entertain us – if it’s not Piers Morgan going off on one, then it’s one of the other presenters clowning around.
Today, it was Kate Garraway’s turn to play the fool.
The 52-year-old and her co-host Ben Shephard – standing in for Piers and Susanna Reid – were discussing a viral video in which a horse plays with a rubber chicken.
In a moment that’ll surely go down as one of the most bizarre things ever to be seen on TV, Kate then pretended to be said horse – and her actions had viewers in fits of laughter.
Ben described his co-star as an “old nag” – but rather than be offended by the remark, Kate decided to play up to it.
Thrusting a rubber chicken into her mouth, she started flailing her head around wildly while making a high-pitched squeaking noise.
Her actions left Ben, and fellow presenter Charlotte Hawkins, 44, doubling up with laughter.
Ben even described it as a “career highlight” for mum-of-two Kate.

And viewers loved it, too. One tweeted: “You’re a real sport Kate, hilarious.”
Another chuckled: “Kate as always a breath of fresh air – priceless!”
A third added: “Kate Garraway… What a fantastic sport she is. Can’t name another presenter who would spoil their hair and act the fool on air.”
While a fourth simply wrote: “What a woman.”
Not everyone was impressed by Kate’s bonkers display, however.
One viewer moaned: “And this is why I don’t watch GMB on Thursday and Friday,” while another mocked: “Thought I’d switched on to CBEEBIES.”
A third said: “This is a news program!!!”
We’re not quite sure what got into Kate this morning, but in another segment she was seen hugging and talking to a tree, while Ben looked on bemused.
Piers and Susanna certainly have a hard act to follow on Monday!
