This Morning viewers beg bosses to bring back Rylan’s guest co-host

Sorry, Rylan, you might be out of a job soon!

Rylan Clark-Neal was joined by a rather special guest to present Wednesday’s showbiz news on This Morning – and fans have fallen in love!

The 28-year-old is sometimes joined by a celebrity while dishing out the latest celebrity goss to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Usually someone who has been interviewed by Holly and Phil earlier in the show.

But in a twist today, he gave the co-host role to someone rather unexpected: a nun named Sister Linda!

Sister Linda had been on the show earlier with her fellow nuns to talk about a new TV show where they open the doors of their convent to a group of party-loving girls in a bid to change their lifestyles.

After chatting about the series, Bad Habits, Holy Orders, she popped up next to Rylan while he went through the day’s showbiz news.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Sister Linda wasn’t too sure about some of the people Rylan name-checked.

Ashley Banjo, the new Dancing On Ice judge? Nope, she drew a blank.

Torvill & Dean? Fuzzy.

Victoria Beckham? Ah! That one Sister Linda did know, even if she made Rylan, Holly and Phil dissolve into giggles by saying: “She plays football, right?”

Oh, Linda!

Fans absolutely adored Sister Linda’s sense of humour and oblivion to the showbiz world, as well as her rapport with Rylan.

So naturally there were calls of “bring her back!” all over social media.

One viewer wrote: “Literally love Rylan and Sister Linda’s new friendship. They need to be on This Morning all the time.”

Another said: “Please keep Sister Linda! She is so funny!”

A third added: “Sister Linda is so sweet. I love her. She should have her own show as she’s so funny.”

No doubt her fans will all be tuning into Channel 5’s Bad Habits, Holy Orders, when it begins this Thursday night at 10pm.

Sister Linda and the nuns of the Daughters of Divine Charity convent in Swaffham, Norfolk, opened their doors to five young women, who mistakenly thought they were off to Bali on a “spiritual journey”.

The social experiment challenged the glamorous, party-loving women to settle into life at the convent, forget the materialistic aspects of their lives, and get back to basics.

Sorry, Rylan – you may be out of a job soon!
