Lorraine guest presenter mocked for “having all the charisma of a plain ham sandwich”

She's been branded the worst presenter on TV

Millie Mackintosh might be happily loved up at the moment, but if she wants to stay cheerful she should really stay off Twitter.

The former Made In Chelsea star was slated by Lorraine viewers after her first attempt at presenting a fashion segment earlier in the week.

The 28-year-old was branded monotonous, dull and painful and “the worst presenter on TV”, as she tried her hand at being a style guru.

She spoke about festival fashion and discussed her recent engagement to fellow MIC star Hugo Taylor with host Christine Lampard, but viewers slated her for being wooden and awkward.

And her second attempt this morning didn’t go down any better, with people online saying it was “like watching paint dry” and that she had “the personality of a dead fish” and “all the charisma of a plain ham sandwich”.

Don’t mince your words, people!

Millie could well be thanking her lovely stars that her new fiancée Hugo Taylor is fabulously wealthy, as it sounds like she won’t be able to rely on a TV career to pay the bills.

She was once again appearing on Lorraine – with stand-in host Christine Lampard – although this time was also joined by former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge.

The pair were introducing a segment on the latest denim trends, and chatted away with the host.

But the reality star turned designer still wasn’t a hit with viewers, who took to Twitter in their droves to savage her presenting style.

“#lorraine @millsmackintosh awful. zero credibility, warmth, charisma. Another bizarre choice from the @GMB pick and mix of awful presenters,” said one.

While another was even more critical, tweeting: “’Millie Mackintosh @ITVLorraine like watching paint dry #lorraine.”

“#GMB Millie Mackintosh, personality of a dead fish,” said one joker, and another added: “Millie Mackintosh with all the charisma of a plain ham sandwich there.”

So if the guest bookers for Lorraine were checking Twitter, if it’s a safe assumption Millie won’t be back on the sofa…
