Coleen Rooney announces baby news

She recently denied pregnancy rumours

Oh Coleen Rooney, you big tease! The mum-of-three has spent the last couple of weeks scotching rumours that she might be pregnant, telling fans that she’d merely “put weight on” after a summer of foreign holidays.

But guess what – it turns out that she IS expecting baby number four after all!

The WAG, 31, sounded thrilled as she tweeted the news in the early hours of this morning.

And she admitted that she’d been leading fans along – but for all the right reasons.

She gushed: “So Happy!!! ….. Never denied the news, but I was always protecting it!! Had scan & all checks are fine…..Baby number 4 is on its way.”

The announcement was also made on her Facebook page.

And fans of Coleen and footballer husband Wayne, 31, were quick to congratulate the couple on their announcement.

One Twitter follower defended the mum for keeping the news close to her chest, writing: “Good for you for only confirming when it was the right time for you. No one else’s business.”

Another quipped: “No [wonder] Wayne hasn’t been his normal self on [the] pitch – he must be [expletive] out.”

While a third commented: “The football team of Rooneys is nearly complete.”

Coleen had been quite scathing towards critics who’d commented on her weight gain, telling the Mail Online that they were “probably a lot heavier than I am”.

“There’s probably someone who’s 20 stone who’s judging me online, so I just ignore it,” she said.

But we’re sure she won’t care too much as her lovely baby bump grows and she prepares to welcome a new member to the Rooney family – probably in January or February 2018.

At the moment, Coleen and Everton star Wayne have three sons – Kai, seven, Klay, four, and Kit, one.

There’s no indication yet as to what the couple will call the new baby, but we’re predicting it’ll be another special K.
